The Telegraph Operation Bot, or TOBY for short, is a bit of an oddity for a steampunk creation as he is not actually steam powered but operates with the use of a battery.
The reason for this is that the clouds of steam and smoke issuing from the earlier models of Telegraph Bot caused the gentlefolk who it accompanied some discomfort.
